The largest hose we carry. You'll have lots of materials to work with. For equipment protection, the 4" diameter hose is big enough to protect some of the industries most heavy duty equipment. Boat and ship docks love using this hose because of the wide angel of protection it provides, since this hose measures roughly 6-1/2 to 7" flat. Some users report cutting the hose down the middle giving it a full 14" when flat while still using both jackets of hose. This gives the user over a foot of width to work with. Fully lined with rubber on the inside, there is no stronger hose available. Remember to use these large heavy materials for alternative use other than firefighting or water transfer. Typically, this hose weights about 1.25 pound per foot. So a 40 foot hose will weight approximately 50 pounds.
