Hammocks
These lengths make sturdy hammocks, in fact many wild animal care specialists suggest using fire hoses to make hammocks for orangutans, lions, tigers, and bears (oh my!). Here are instructions for creating a pet bed from your used fire hose - no matter how big your "kitty" is. And for your own personal use, just string around sturdy trees, run it through planks of wood, and fasten it all together with nylon cord and nylon cloth webbing.
